OpmerkingenThe moon hadn't risen yet. The sky lit up a second or 2 before the fireball became visible. It was about as bright as the morning before the sun comes up. It reminded me of how the sky was lit up orange in Kalapana when fissure 8 was doing it's thing, but blue instead of orange. Brighter, but still hazy.

OpmerkingenAfter it shot across the sky above us it looked like the end of a firework. There were about 6 orange dotted bursts that ended with a whiteish larger burst finish. The bursts were much smaller than the stream behind the fireball.
